The Seth Foundation was founded because of the death of my 18 year-old son, Seth. I watched my son and my family struggle with his drug use for two years, starting with prescription drugs such as Soma and Oxycontin and ended with his use of Heroin. I want to help educate parents and especially kids on how dangerous drug use is. I would like to bring about awareness of the HUGE problem that no one wants to talk about.

CCC provides a community-based instruction and inclusion curriculum focusing on building, transitioning and generalizing skills in a variety of natural and included environments. CCC facilitates the development of lasting relationships with peers within the program and out in the community. By providing structured and supportive exposure through our program's daily activities and interactions, we offer opportunities to provide first-hand autism education and inclusion experiences as we proudly introduce these amazing individuals to their San Diego community.

OUR PROGRAM
Our program offers a Christian discipleship approach that targets the physical, social and psychological as well as spiritual aspects of chemical addictions as well as mental addictions. The program is mentored by recovered addicts for the simple fact that it gives the client a familiarity / respect and hope and trust with their mentor.

The program works because it is done through the application of the Bible to all areas of their lives, they are spiritually and emotionally healed of the pain and suffering of addiction or bad choices so they can become a complete new creation in Christ. It also brings them down to a humility that they need to change.

Our Program is a continuum of care integrating The Celebrating Recovery & Overcomers program & is biblically based. It is a 6month residential transitional restoration/ retreat ranch. There are 3 phases, each phase lasting 2 months.

1st Phase; Basic Training on the basics of Christ> finding what you were created for & helping you get through the changes that you will be going through by following The Purpose Driven Life daily, along with: Character Building classes> Celebrating Recovery, & Overcomers groups twice a week> Anger Management groups> Physical exercise; hiking, gardening, weights, & swimming.

2nd Phase: A.I.T>advance individual training through the 40 day Heart Revolution, so you’re able to overcome any obstacle that presents itself to you & Intense studies on knowing who you are in Christ & the authority that you have and how to apply that authority in the Spiritual Realm> ****note: Physical & Recovery groups remain each phase.

3rd & final Phase: Leadership training> Re-entry to society and exit plans.

A place to come for Revival, Hope, Healing & Restoration

Race headquarters was very packed with enthusiastic runners all morning long.

Several top local bands performed throughout the morning with very good music.

Many runners ran in full pink outfits and were driven to help collect funds for this great cause.

Of course CoffeeWithACause.org was on hand to help with the morning dose of healthy coffee. All net proceeds were donated directly to the local chapter of Susan G. Komen, much like several other vendors.
